Robotic Weld Operator

Job Description

CMP Attachments is hiring a Robot Weld Operator to fabricate durable attachments from heavy steel. We invest in automation and skilled people to build products we’re proud of. Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor robotic welding cells
  • Load and unload parts and ensure proper fixturing
  • Perform basic robot touch-ups and adjustments
  • Inspect weld quality and make process improvements as needed
  • Troubleshoot welding, robot, and fixture issues
  • Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment clean and organized
  • Follow quality and production standards
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams
  • Adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures 

Qualifications:

  • Robot welding experience preferred but can be learned on the job
  • CAD drawing experience preferred but can be learned on the job
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills

Welder / Fabricator

Job Description

CMP Attachments is hiring a Welder/Fabricator to build durable attachments from heavy steel. We combine skilled craftsmanship with efficient production to create products we’re proud of. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and turning raw steel into finished equipment, you’ll fit in well here.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG welding on structural steel components
  • Read and interpret drawings and weld symbols
  • Fit, tack, and weld parts to meet specifications
  • Grind, clean, and finish welds to quality standards
  • Inspect welds for strength, accuracy, and appearance
  • Assist with layout and setup of parts and assemblies
  • Troubleshoot fit-up or welding issues as they arise
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow quality and production standards
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams
  • Adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures

Qualifications:

  • Welding experience preferred (MIG required; structural welding a plus)
  • Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Powder Coater / Finishing Technician

CMP Attachments is hiring a Powder Coater to apply durable, high-quality finishes to heavy steel attachments. Our finishing team plays a critical role in both the appearance and longevity of our products. If you take pride in your work, enjoy hands-on tasks, and want to be part of building equipment that lasts, you’ll fit in well here.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare parts for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed
  • Apply powder coat using spray equipment to achieve consistent coverage
  • Load and unload parts from the coating line and curing ovens
  • Ensure proper curing times and temperatures
  • Inspect finished parts for quality, coverage, and defects
  • Touch up or rework parts as needed to meet standards
  • Maintain powder coating equipment and spray booths
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
  • Follow quality and production standards
  • Work closely with production team to meet deadlines
  • Adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures

Qualifications:

  • Powder coating or painting experience preferred (will train the right candidate)
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work with hands in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to lift and handle steel parts
